・キャンパス内にバス停。

・キャンパスから5分の位置にドミトリー。

・ホームステイは基本的にバスで10分から15分もしくは30分の位置になるそうですが、車だと5分以内の距離だそうです。

・コミュニケーションの授業プログラムは好評。

・環境学関係やサイエンスも好評。

キャンパス内の仕事は、図書館、本屋、生徒のアシスタントなど。

・情報学が開講予定。

・I-20を24時間のビジネス時間で対応。

・学生数は２つのキャンパスで9000人程度。

・Bridgeのレベル１、２のクラスは日本人が多い。

2015年春学期から開始の生徒さんの感想
大分、こちらの生活にも慣れてきました。
テストも終わりクラスも決まりました。

AESLの真ん中のクラスになりました。
ブリッジコースの下のコースなのでかなり勉強が必要です(-_-;)
できるだけ早く、レギュラーコースに行けるように頑張るのみです！

オリエンテーションなども今日無事終わり、もう授業が始まるのを待つだけです。
ホームステイ先もなんとかやっていけそうです。
ホームステイ先の人も手伝ってくださり、銀行口座やケータイ、在留届など最低限必要なことも終わりました。

この辺りは、本当に自然が多く農業地帯で環境的には最適だと思います。
（生活に最低限必要なもの以外あまりありません！）
もちろん、車で少し行けば何でもありますが学校の周りにはなぜかマックとカフェが１件、ガソリンスタンドがあるというくらいです！！

ただ、日本人がけっこういるのが気がかりです。

Yes, we will be able to accept the Certificate for Students Achieving the Proficiency Level of Upper Secondary School Graduates instead of the High School Certificate.

Also since Ryugakusit.com, Inc. is partners with the USA Community College Consortium, we can waive the Recommendation Letter.

スカジットバレーカレッジのホームステイ料金が$25値上がりします。

Greetings from Skagit Valley College International Programs!   I am writing to provide you with some information about upcoming changes to the Homestay fee starting fall quarter 2012:

Change in Homestay Fee

Beginning fall quarter 2012, the cost for the Homestay Program will increase by $25 per each option.

Traditional Homestay, with food provided, will now be $550.00 per month.

Room and Kitchen Access, with no food provided, will now be $400.00 per month.

This increase has been put into place to help host families with the rising costs of living and allows the host to better provide for the students while in their homes.

・ホームステイ（1人部屋、食事なし、キッチンアクセス付き）→$400
