4 APPLICATION PROCESS

4.1 When submitting a new guest application at https://www.ushstudent.com/apply/homestay/step-1-vb, the Partner should follow the following steps:

1. Under the question “Are you an Agent,” choose “Yes.”

2. Under the question “Is the student part of a group,” choose “No.”

3. Enter the Partner’s email, and the system should recognize the Partner’s account and have the

Partner’s client connected with the Partner’s account.

Input the client’s information and preferences so USH can start looking for a homestay accommodation.

5 PAYMENT AND COMMISSION OPTIONS

When the Partner submits a guest homestay application and, on the 3rd, and final step prior to submitting the application, the Partner will need to choose how to pay the application fee and security deposit required for USH to start working on the guest application.

There are two payment options available for partners to choose from.

The first option is to pay by credit card.

If this option is chosen, the full Application Fee and Security Deposit will be charged to the client’s application when it is submitted. Within 48 business hours of submitting the application, a refund of $100 will be processed to allow the partner to receive their referral fee during this window of time.

The second option is to pay via wire transfer or check.

In this case, USH will provide an invoice with a $100 discount, allowing the partner to retain their commission and submit the remaining balance.

食事つきプランで申し込みをした学生が、留学してから食事なしに変更したいとの要望あり。会社からホストへ確認をしてＯＫであれば変更。ホストがＮＧであれば他のホームステイ先を探してくれるとのこと。変更後の返金についてはチェックを発行される。本人が会社へ取りに行くか、ホストファミリー宅へ郵送されるかどちらか選べる。

＊ホームステイ滞在期間を延長するときに、同じホストファミリ側で受け入れができない場合、新たな手配料を支払わずに新しいホストファミリを手配してくれる
＊退去してから6ヶ月以内に新たにホームステイの手配を依頼する場合、手配料は半額
＊退去してから6ヶ月以内に同じホームステイに戻る場合、手配料はなし
＊退去してから6ヶ月を経過してから再度ホームステイの手配を依頼する場合、手配料は通常通り支払う

Clause 2: (…) Students who are returning to USH less than 6 months from their move out date and need a new homestay will be charged half of the application fee. Students returning more than 6 months from their move out date will pay the full application fee. The application fee will be waived only for students returning within a 6 month period to the same homestay they last moved out of.

2016年度の規約

＊ホームステイ申込金／セキュリティ・デポジット／空港出迎え料金は返金不可です。
＊到着予定日の15日前を過ぎてからの申し込みについては、ホームステイ申込金として150ドルの追加料金がかかります。尚、到着予定日の少なくとも10日前までには到着情報を通知する必要があります。
＊到着予定日の1ヶ月前までには4週間分の滞在費を支払う必要があります。
＊残りの滞在費は、到着後4日以内に支払う必要があります。支払いが遅れた場合、遅延金として120ドルがかかります。
＊滞在費を外国送金する場合、40ドルの銀行手数料がかかります。クレジットカードで支払う場合、3.75％の手数料がかかります。
＊ホームステイ手配の申し込みをキャンセルする場合、到着予定日の20日以上前に書面で通知する必要があります。また、キャンセル料として85ドルがかかります。

＊到着予定日の20日前を過ぎてキャンセルする場合、最初の1週間分の滞在費を差し引き、残りの滞在費が返金されます。
＊到着予定日の10日前を過ぎてキャンセルする場合、最初の4週間分の滞在費を差し引き、残りの滞在費が返金されます。
＊到着後のホームステイの変更は、到着後1週間以内の通知が必要で、変更は1回限り可能です。2回目以上の変更については150ドルがかかります。
＊退出する場合、退出予定日の最低30日前までにはUSHに通知する必要があります。通知をしなかった場合、退出しても通知期間の分の滞在費は返金されません。
＊鍵を紛失した場合、あるいは退出時に鍵を返却し忘れた場合、合鍵代あるいは最低50ドルの支払いが必要になります。
＊滞在を延長する場合は、USHへの通知が必要です。延長した場合、延長した期間の初日に滞在費を支払う必要があります。支払いが遅れた場合、遅延金として85ドルが加算されます。延長した期間の4日以内に支払が完了しなかった場合、遅延金は120ドルとなります。
