学生寮が満室だったときに担当者から届いた Nordheim Courtレジデンスの案内（発音が不明ノードハイムコート？）

She is a Priority 4 housing applicant and is on a waitlist for housing. If she would like immediate housing we are recommending that students apply for a space in Nordheim Court which is managed by our partners, GreyStar.

Here’s what you can look forward to at Nordheim Court:

2023年5月10日以降、出願時に出願料支払い情報の提出は不要

Application Fee: 

Beginning May 10^th, we will no longer collect payment information on the application form.  We will collect the $50 one-time, non-refundable application fee when students have been accepted and register for their first classes. 

Payment of Tuition and Fees: 

Beginning May 10^th, we will no longer accept credit card payments over the phone, via email, or in-person at our Registration Office.  

·       Once a student registers, they will automatically be sent an email with a unique invoice link.  Clicking on this link will take the student to a secure payment portal where they can pay the program fee via credit card.   

o   Please note that due to FERPA regulations, this invoice can only be sent to the student’s email.  If you wish to pay on behalf of your student, the student must forward this invoice email to you. 

o   No login information is required. 

·       There are no changes to our other payment options, including FlyWire. 

Payment of Tuition and Fees: 

Beginning May 10^th, a nonrefundable 2.75% service charge (minimum fee of $3) will be charged when paying by credit card or debit card.

1学期だけあるいは2学期だけで学生寮に滞在したい場合

We do not offer a 6-month agreement as all our terms are fixed. If Chihiro has not done so already, they will need to apply for 9-Month housing requesting to be assigned for spring quarter. The next step is the apply for summer housing, which will be available for submission starting April 1. The application location is the same website Chihiro applied for spring quarter. This would give them 6 months of housing.

現地で受講開始後に次の学期のプログラムを変更することは可能

Absolutely, students can transfer from different programs. We have a wonderful advising team that will help them to navigate the system and transfer between programsJ.

Yes, students can study GC in summer. There are some important considerations:
· Summer quarter is shorter and more intense than other quarters.
· Students should have higher English scores, so it would be easier taking UW level classes
· It would be ideal to start with GBC and then transfer to GC.

Global Business Certificate 秋学期

• 1月5日時点で、残り36席あるため、まだ出願を受け付けている。
• 秋学期は対面授業で開講予定。

It is unfortunately not possible for Global Connections students to take one of the Global Business Certificate courses as an elective.
The next start date for Global Connections will be in June for our summer session or late September for our autumn session. We will post exact dates and deadlines on our website within the next few weeks.

アパートメントの場合、Cedar ApartmentsあるいはNordheim Courtが留学生向けと記載されていますが、アパートメントは9月～8月の12ヶ月契約です。
レジデンスホールは9月～6月の9ヶ月契約で、ミールプランは必須です。

IELP students may also live in one of two apartment buildings on campus: Cedar Apartments and Nordheim Court. Units in these apartments are furnished and come with fully equipped kitchens and shared bathrooms (one for every two bedrooms). Both buildings include laundry facilities. Students may choose their roommates.

ひとクラスの人数と日本人の数
IBEPコースは日本人の方が大半
GBPコースは30名で、そのうち日本人が16名。社会人も多く内容が難しいのでやりがいがあるとのこと。
日本人はICCのIBPプログラムの参加者がほとんど。
