Beginner DJing (DJ 101)
DJ 101 is the perfect starting point for anyone looking to learn to DJ. Whether you want to spin at a club, be the next festival superstar, or just pick up a new hobby, our hands-on instruction will teach you the fundamentals of mixing, blending, and scratching. No matter your music tastes or commitment level, DJ 101 will give you the skills you need to start DJing today! You will learn:
DJ history
Basic music theory & song structure
Ins & outs of equipment (turntables, mixers, speakers, etc.)
Basic scratching & timing
Basic mixing
Exposure to new technology (Serato Live, Traktor Scratch Pro, CDJs, mixing consoles, etc.)
This class meets once per week for 6 weeks total.

＊F-1で、半日ビジネス英語（20L/W）＋半日インターンが可能。電話インタビューあり
＊今年の初めから1レッスン＝55分を1レッスン＝50分に変更。平日の終了時間が少し早くなり、金曜日の午後はフリー
＊英語プラスの中で、電話インタビューが必要なのは、映画製作（中級以上）、ファッション（中級以上）、演技（上級以上）。
＊英語プラスの中で、ファッションだけは、レナートの生徒のみで構成されるclosed クラス。その他はそれぞれの学校がやっているレギュラープログラムに入る。
＊教室の形式は、みんなが机をかこむアイランドタイプ。1クラス10名まで。
＊ニューヨーク校はビルが2つ。徒歩数分の距離。どちらも2011年に改装してきれいになっている。
＊エグゼクティブのクラスは、オフィスのあるとの同じビルで、一般の生徒とは使えるラウンジなどが別れている。電話インタビューが必要。平均年齢は35歳。最低年齢の制限はないが、社会経験が2～3年以上あることが必須
＊NYは約250名で日本人は平均14%。
＊マイアミビーチは約60名で日本人は5%以下。マイアミのレジデンスはすべて徒歩圏内。英語プラスはNY校とは異なる。TOEICコースはない。それ以外は基本的にNYと同じ

8月にRennertに短期語学留学（Vacation ‘N Learnコース）していた方からの情報です。
「ほかの学校は知りませんが、NYにはスペインから来る留学生が多いようで、7割程度がスペイン人でした。政府からニューヨークへの留学の支援があるそうです。
また、午前中か午後の授業かを選べると思っていましたが、午前のクラスはいっぱいで、午後のクラスにしか入れませんでした。観光には不向きかもしれません。」

ホームページでAgentでログインすると、エージェントマニュアルが見れます。その中に、出発前にキャンセルした場合のキャンセルポリシーが記載されています。出発2週間前、出発後は授業料の返金がないので、アメリカとしては要注意学校です。滞在費に関しても、出発2週間前になってしまうと、申込金と2週間分の滞在費がチャージされます。到着後のキャンセルは、4週間前に伝える必要があります。
Tuition
All students must have paid for their program IN FULL by the FIRST day of classesor they will not be permitted to attend classes.
Prior to Stare Date:
Rennert requires that all cancellations are received in writing at least 2 weeks priorto start date. If cancellation is received less than 2 weeks prior to start date, or if the student fails to arrive on start date, tuition is not refundable. The student or agent will be entitled to a tuition credit only, which is valid for one year.
The $145 Registration Fee is a not refundable if courses are cancelled but may be applied to future registrations in the same calendar year. Rennert will make refunds only to the person or agency that paid the school.
After classes begin:
No monetary refunds will be made, REGARDLESS of reasons for departure. Tuition credit will be issued to the person or agency that paid the school. We require at least 4 weeks notice for all program changes after the initial start date and a $60 program change fee will apply. There are no changes or refunds of registrations of 4 week or less. Tuition credit from group classes cannot be redeemed for private classes.
Tuition credit is valid for one year from the date the credit was issued and CANNOT be transferred to another student.
Living Accommodations
Prior to Arrival:
A week is considered to be Sunday to Saturday. Students may NOT stay at a Rennert accommodation more than 2 days before or 2 days after their course begins or finishes. If accommodations are cancelled at least 2 weeks prior to arrival a full refund will be issued with the exception of the $80 non-refundable accommodation fee. If accommodations are cancelled less than 2 weeks prior to your arrival, Rennert will retain the $80 Accommodations Fee and the first two weeks of housing fee. The Manhattan apartments require a $300 security deposit to be paid via
credit card 2 weeks prior to arrival. All other funds paid will be refunded to the person or agency that paid the school.
After Arrival:
Rennert requires 4 weeks notice to change or cancel any accommodations. There are no refunds or accommodation changes on stays of 4 weeks or less. A fee of $80 will be charged for all accommodation changes made at Rennert (NYC) after the start date. A fee of $150 will be charged for all accommodation changes made at Rennert Miami (Miami) after the start date. All other funds paid will be refunded to the person or agency that paid the school.
■空港出迎え （2010年6月時点）
レナートに空港出迎えサービスのキャンセルが可能か、また学校が手配した場所ではない所へ送ってもらうのは可能かを伺いました。
We would be possible to cancel an airport transfer as long as we are nitified at least 48 cancellation notice. Also, we would be able to arrange an airport transfer from airport to a hotel.
